Walking through India's ancient stepwells, I was always drawn to the moment when the air cools and the world quiets as you descend. Light touches stone differently there. Time slows.

This piece tries to capture that feeling.

The arch recalls both the quiet curves of Indian architecture and the elegance of art-deco porte cochères. The micro-cement surface carries the imprint of the craftsman’s hand, grounding the object in material honesty.

Inside, a concealed glow echoes the warmth of evening ritual — the soft light that signals the day’s return to home.
